Ballarat orthodontist Dr Deborah Sykes is participating in the Give a Smile program, a national initiative of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO), developed so that selected public patients receive treatment from a caring and professional orthodontist in a private practice.

Dr Sykes has volunteered to donate her time, skill and expertise to the program and is pleased to support an initiative that will help people in the community who do not have ready access to private orthodontic care. The purpose of this program is to quite literally Give a Smile and help enrich people’s lives.Give a Smile orthodontist like Dr Sykes will accept at least one patient each year and provide free of charge orthodonticcare in her specialist practice. Lachlan Fleming is this year’s lucky Give a Smile patient and has recently started his orthodontic treatment with Dr Deborah Sykes in Ballarat.
